INFANT LOSS Loss of a child is always huge and, often, there does not seem to be much help – others don’t always understand.  Trying to make sense of something that doesn’t make sense.  Through my training with Foundation for Infant Loss, I can help with child loss, from miscarriage to still birth to child loss and offer support a way of managing this but also finding a way to remember the child who will always be part of your life.  This can be a difficult time for parents, each grieving in their own way, to talk together and find their way forward.

CBT COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY CBT looks at the way cognitive and behavioural processes affect one another and aims to help you to eliminate negative cycles and is helpful for anxiety and depression.   By combining cognitive and behavioural approaches, it aims to break overwhelming problems down into thoughts, feelings, actions and physical sensations,  As these are interconnected they can have the effect of trapping you into a negative spiral with negative thought patterns leading to negative behaviours. Learned behaviours, habits and negative thought patterns are examined in the session and I will work with you in adapting and changing them to be more positive and to learn more helpful ways of thinking and behaving.
